Francisco Riffo is a musician and multimedia artist from Puerto Montt in southern Chile. His practice spans computer music, sound installation, generative visuals and interdisciplinary collaboration. In his musical work, he combines traditions such as dance music with experimental processes, chaotic programming and live improvisation. His installations examine how multichannel digital compositions can interact mechanically with architecture and transform the perception of space. Through movement and unconventional loudspeaker configurations, his work explores spatial listening and psychoacoustic experience. His album Hyperme was released by Modern Obscure Music, and his work has been presented in Germany, Spain, Canada and Chile; in 2026, a collaboration with Hermanos Riffo Gómez was developed at the Society for Arts and Technology in Montréal and subsequently performed at MUTEK Montréal.
